Suggested Maintenance Frequencies

1. Vacuuming
   Like dust mopping, this is surface cleaning and should be done on a daily basis. High traffic areas should be vacuumed as often as practical during inclement weather periods. Ideally, a dual motor vac should be used.
2. Light Cleaning
   Like damp mopping, should be done on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for high traffic areas. On areas with medium traffic, monthly frequencies are normally adequate. Low and no traffic areas are wet cleaned on an as needed, time available basis.
3. Extraction
   Like deep scrubbing, this should be done a 3 times a year for medium traffic areas, and 4 times a year for high traffic areas.
4. Shampooing
   This is done once every 12 to 24 months, normally on medium and high traffic areas.
5. Carpet Protector
   Use a carpet protector every time the carpet is extracted or shampooed.
