• System: Spray Wash Systems (Batch or Continuous)
• Dilution Rate: 3-15%, typically used at 5%
• Temperature: 130-180ºF (54-82ºC), typically used at 140-150ºF (60-66ºC)
• Cleaning Duration: 1-30 minutes; typical parts are cleaned in 3-10 minutes

Spray wash systems should be cleaned prior to introduction of AquaVantage® 224. Contact a Brulin parts cleaning representative for specific use-case guidelines about the rinse process, drying process, and for information and recommendations.

1. Add AquaVantage® 224 to solution tank filled with hot or cold water using the dilution rate for your system.
2. Mix solution thoroughly.
3. Heat solution to the specified temperature for your cleaning system.
4. Wash parts in batch or continuous spray wash system until soil is removed.
5. Rinse with water. Recommended conductivity of final rinse water:
   • Ultra-Clean Applications: ≤ 50 microsiemens
   • Precision Cleaning: ≤ 500 microsiemens
   • Gross Cleaning: > 500 microsiemens
6. Dry parts.
   • To avoid spotting, it is best if the parts remain wet between processing stages.
   • Extended corrosion protection can be achieved with Brulin corrosion inhibitors.
     • RP 737 | Water-Based Corrosion Inhibitor
     • RP 800 | Ready-To-Use Oil-Based Corrosion Inhibitor
     • RP 802 | Dilutable Oil-Based Corrosion Inhibitor
     • RP 835 | Concentrated Nitrate-Based Corrosion Inhibitor

Storage

To prevent incorrect or unsafe storage of AquaVantage® 224, store locked up and away from incompatible materials.

Disposal

When disposing of AquaVantage® 224, dispose of waste and residues in accordance with local authority requirements. Please recycle container.
