AquaVantage® Non-Silicated Cleaning Ranges

• System: Immersion & Ultrasonic Tanks
• Dilution Rate: 7-30%, typically used at 10%
• Temperature
  • 130-170ºF (54-77ºC), typically used at 140ºF – 150ºF (60-66ºC)
  • For copper alloys, do not exceed 120°F (57°C).
• Cleaning Duration
  • 1-30 minutes dependent on the soil to be removed
  • 3-10 minutes – standard machining oils

AquaVantage® Non-Silicated Usage Directions

Contact a Brulin parts cleaning representative for specific use-case guidelines about the rinse process, drying process, and for information and cleaning recommendations.

1. Add AquaVantage® Non-Silicated to solution tank filled with hot or cold water using the dilution rate for your system.
2. Mix solution thoroughly.
3. Heat solution to specified temperature for your cleaning system. For copper alloys, do not exceed 120°F (57°C).
4. Immerse parts until in tank soil is removed.
5. Rinse with water.
   1. A heated rinse may improve overall performance.
   2. Some OEM process specifications may require a heated rinse.
   3. Recommended conductivity of final rinse water:
      1. Ultra-Clean Applications: ≤ 50 microsiemens
      2. Precision Cleaning: ≤ 500 microsiemens
      3. Gross Cleaning: > 500 microsiemens
6. Dry parts.
   • To avoid spotting, it is best if the parts remain wet between processing stages.
   • Extended corrosion protection can be achieved with Brulin corrosion inhibitors.
     • RP 737 | Water-Based Corrosion Inhibitor
     • RP 800 | Ready-To-Use Oil-Based Corrosion Inhibitor
     • RP 802 | Dilutable Oil-Based Corrosion Inhibitor
     • RP 835 | Concentrated Nitrate-Based Corrosion Inhibitor

Storage

To prevent incorrect or unsafe storage of AquaVantage® Non-Silicated, store away from incompatible materials. Do not freeze.

Disposal

When disposing of AquaVantage® Non-Silicated, dispose of waste and residues in accordance with local authority requirements. Please recycle container.
