Rinse Aid 897 is a surfactant additive designed to suppress foam in process detergents when used at elevated temperatures.

Rinse Aid 897 may be used initially to suppress foam or may be added later to restore foam suppression. This product is not hazardous as defined by the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200.

Usage Directions

For most applications, dilute Rinse Aid 897 1 part to 100-1,000 parts rinse solution (1% – 0.1%).

Temperature: 120-170ºF (49-77ºC), typically used at 130-150°F (54-66ºC)

Rinse Aid 897 may be used initially to suppress foam or be added later to restore foam suppression.

  • Add Rinse Aid 897 to solution tank filled with hot or cold water using the dilution rate for your system.
  • Mix solution thoroughly.
  • Heat solution to specified temperature for your cleaning system.
  • Wash parts until soil is removed.
